Ok, so here is a lightning invoice, which jb55 (npub1xts…kk5s) says we can just paste in and somehow Nostr will magically turn it into a clicky invoice thing on some apps or clients. I don't build apps, I do journalism (Spain, independent, just readers), so I guess this could be a new way of readers supporting reporting or analysis they like (many already subscribe on Substack but during the pandemic some tried with bits of bitcoin via Twitter DM or something we have in Spain called "bizum", which is bank-to-bank via mobile phone numbers). And if⚡️ lightning tips work from each Nostr post, then readers could even just tip a few sats for a particular topic or article or whatever it was.
