After #COVID , I could no longer cycle up the hill from the village on an unassisted bike. About 18 months ago, I got myself an electric bike and after 6 months riding that I could once again ride up the hill unassisted. Today I needed to get more groceries than I can carry on a bike. I haven't yet bought adapters to fit my trailer to the electric bike, so I put it on my acoustic bike and went shopping.
And the journey home was actually easy.
