This is going to start happening a lot more often, low skilled customer service jobs replaced by a Filipino on a screen making $5 an hour. A lot of business owners brag about this sort of thing replacing "lazy" American workers. And this practice may be replaced with AI in the next couple of years. People really don't understand how desperate these companies are to save a buck.
