Whenever I am going to start doing a piece of artwork for myself, like 'my' art, as opposed to creating something for a customer, it always feels like a gamble. Cause if the piece will take say a month to do, I always have an annoying voice in my head that is questioning if the art will be received well by people, + if anyone else is willing to pay for it, + if Im risking wasting time by making it. Cause artists have to pay rent too so it is a huge kind of gamble with time and the near future.
