I've never had anything against Star Citizen despite all the "drama". I've always just hung back and resigned to waiting a decade before dropping money on a starter ship.
I still feel that way. I checked the wiki. Star Citizen actually had an original release date of 2014. Literally 10 years later and afaik the economy is still in a "beta" state with "beta" money. That was always my benchmark, when they say "the economy is real", that's the release date.
