I got dumped by BBC Radio 3 some years back (no reasons given; I console myself that unquestionably the best colleague also found himself out). The only solution is to try and find ways to work for yourself - not possible for these people, I know, but I was forced to discover Zoom for my lectures, and it's been a godsend as I now have students from all over the world.",
