You and I would have never existed, and I can't bring myself to say I wish I'd never been born. There are a lot of things that went haywire because nature made such a major edit to our design, but here we are, and we can either tamp down on the problematic side effects to make the new feature worthwhile, or wallow in the bugs that were introduced into our brain design along the way. Eventually they'll all get ironed out, and the cool part about this particular new feature is, we can actually consciously participate in that process. Without intelligence, we wouldn't get this amazing opportunity to become who we choose to be instead of following the path laid out for us by externalities.
