Well informed advice from one non-tech noob to another about user-friendly freedom systems:
1. "The Bitcoin Machine" with Umbrel has never failed me
2. Running my BTC full node and LN node with Umbrel is the easiest and intuitive
3. Use Trezor Model T via Sparrow wallet, once you do, never relaunch Trezor Suite again.
4. Use ColdCard for true peace of mind, needs a learning curve but less scary than it looks
5. Use HodlrSwiss cylinders to keep your seed words safe
6. Use Damus if you are on iOS, it just is the best for me as i am constantly on the go
7. Use Wallet of Satoshi dedicated to your Nostr activities. It just works and supports all requirements for Nostriches
8. Use KeepassXC as your password manager, save a copy of your passwords file on different devices
9. Run a Nostr Relay via Nostream and Railway
10. Run a Nostr personal relay via Umbrel
This is very high level advice but feel free to add or dispute but bear in mind that this is for non-tech noobs, don't go NASA on us. Rapid adoption will require simplicity in execution and user-friendliness.
