recently, this bird has been inspecting its own head while it experiences emotions. one surprising thing it realized is that... species euphoria is its own, completely distinct, emotion. its not happiness, contentedness, or mania..
this might feel surface level, apologies if so. the gryphon further went and tried to examine what "shiftiness" was and found a similar conclusion.. to us, shiftyness isn't some combination of other emotions or cognitive distortions but seems to be its own unique primitive/primal feeling.
what are the conclusions? well, there are some vague ones, but they are too complex to easily put in words.. maybe there'll be a blog post later about this topic. takeaways? try inspecting what exactly species euphoria is to you. doing so has at least changed this gryphons perception of self.
