Oh that's funny, this afternoon I heard "Don't You Forget..." on the radio, and the dj provided some info I didn't know. The song was offered to Bryan Ferry and to somebody else, who turned it down -- but then Chrissie Hynde, who was married to the lead singer of Simple Minds (I didn't know that; I only knew of her being with Ray Davies of the Kinks), convinced Simple Minds to record it.
