You obviously have a preference for industry, but it will all become useless if we are no longer able to fulfill our basics needs (food, water, shelter).
A lot of people are busy with the 3rd, 4th and 5th level of the pyramid of Maslow, that they forget about the basics.
There is no market demand, it purely created by people.
To survive we don't need steel, medicine etc.
That's my realism and it is not ideological ,at least not more than you.
