It's true that UK PM Kier Starmer just fired the head of the UK Competition and Markets Authority and replaced him with the ex-boss of Amazon UK UK boss.But the thing that makes that so tragic is that the UK CMA had been doing astonishingly great work under various *conservative* governments.
In the EU, they've passed the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act, and they're going after Big Tech with both barrels.
