Hurrah, the Labour Party is going to ban MPs from taking second jobs....
Oh hold on, they are going to exclude broadcasting & speeches from the outright ban... oh, and of course, the professions....
So that would be an outright ban, except for the jobs that the bulk of MPs second income actually comes from.
The Tories have long had a record of declaratory politics - all declaration, no action - and now it looks like Labour are picking up the batton.
