Currently wondering whether anyone in the metal scene would refer to themselves or another metalhead as a 'headbanger', or whether this is strictly an outsider term.
I've never referred to myself or anyone else by that term, and rarely (if ever) hear other metalheads use it.
But it seems to be the preferred term used by non-metallers.

I don't think any of this matters, but I am interested in the semi-conscious use of language. #metal #language
