My uncle with Parkinson’s just sent me this. 1981 in Bremerton… this is the USS Missouri, BB-63 and I stood on the spot where the Japanese surrendered and WWII ended on its deck.
I remember it like yesterday. Even as a kid the first sight of the Missouri as we were walking up was just stunning SIZE. What a special thing! 🇺🇸
