I went without a car from around 2011 to 2018 and given the nightmare this 2018 model year vehicle has been, I am thinking of going back to being car less. Unfortunately, in the USA, due to the GM Streetcar conspiracy, mass transit was decimated and never recovered, so I have a fair bit of logistics to handle before I can potentially relocate to somewhere to go without a car and still lead a life that is what I want; but definitely the previous cars I owned (all 2001 or older) seemed far better in almost every way to the car I currently have and the cars I see being sold presently.
