People for whatever reason started believing butter should be kept in the fridge instead of left out at room temperature. This led to butter becoming “not spreadable” for most people. This led to the creation of “spreadable” butter, a blend of butter and various seed oils, which is terrible for your health.
And so, by trying to solve a problem that didn’t exist in the first place, a new problem was created. The solution to this new problem was itself a new problem.
This isn’t a post about butter or seed oils, it’s a post about premature problem solving.
We started with 0 problems and ended up with 2 (or more), because we couldn’t recognize the fact that there wasn’t a problem to begin with.
