#Emacs highlights text using font-lock-mode. Keywords highlighting is defined using font-lock-keywords. When set to a list of symbols, it defines multiple levels. You can select the level on a per-mode basis using font-lock-maximum-decoration.
Personally I prefer using less colors, but some users may have different preferences. So I now support 3 levels for bcl-mode At the highest levels, even entry names and block types are highlighted.
