People have the Holy Spirit, a priest is supposed to be full of the Holy Spirit so when we confess to a priest we are confessing to God, when we give to an homeless that is a good person we are seeing God there with the cross of poverty so when we give to the homeless we are giving to God, etc. Its better to find God in the other human being that trying to find in the air, etc as protestants do. As Padre Pio used to say, the father of protestantism is the devil.
