hi there. This is my today story...😆

Long time now, I wanted to change my #WoS LN wallet which I used for #nostr with an #Alby wallet.
I was a bit relax at the office...
"Today it's the day"..I thought...

All from an #android mobile phone.

So open the site, and created an #alby account (Alby Hub).
Easy...First I registered there (with an email) and voila..my Alby account.
Add a name, image etc. check the options there...I was happy..that it was so easy!!

I thought that with the Alby account I have also a LN address, that I could just copy it to my #amethyst account and be ready...
...I was wrong.
I had to connect a wallet there. And that's how my journey started..😂

I was trying more than an hour to figure out how to link a wallet there. Until today I used #WoS and sometimes also #Phoenix

So I tried to copy paste the WoS address and link it with Alby 😁. Didn't work.

Tried to find in Phoenix wallet something like an nwc... didn't found anything. Once I tried also to copy the LN node id from Phoenix to Alby link wallet 😁. Didn't work.

Then I searched for an option of nwc wallet, and found #coinos.
I saw lately here other people using it, sooo
ok "let's do it" I though...

Went at the site and tried to login. I saw an option to sign in with #nostr.
Great! I thought..
Didn't wanted to copy nsec there. Let's try #Amber I thought (have heard in the past about this).

But first I had to install #zapstore
So installed zapstore.

Then I saw AlbyGo there...
Ahaa "maybe I have to install this!!, and link it to my AlbyHub!! so I can have fortunately my Alby LN wallet" I thought...
I was again wrong 😁

Back to Amber then..
Installed Amber.
After some failure attempts to sign in to coinos with Amber I figured it out!!

So now I had also a coinos account 😁

Only thing remained was to link now the coinos to Alby..
After some searching in coinos I found and revealed the connection string (nostr+wallet connect). Copied and pasted to Alby link wallet!!!! Alby accepted the string finally it worked!!🥳

I copied my Alby wallet in amethyst.

Done!!!😂

But now I have an Alby wallet address which is linked with coinos..
Why not put in amethyst just the coinos address???

And I don't have any recovery seed phrase from coinos..in case that something goes wrong.
How I can secure my #sats??

What I did wrong??😆

Just another day of a non technical #nostrich in the #nostrverse !!!
