I know why I fail,
yet I’m resistant to learn,
because I like the hail,
like the feeling to burn.

Strong roots grow in the shadow,
but only grow in the dark?
Feels like there is no match,
for this character arc.

So with all my might,
I got to turn to the light.
I saw it and felt it and know there is more,
driving the universe at it’s vibrating core.

When there is light in the dark,
and you’re becoming aware,
you’ll get overwhelmed with choices
until you don’t really care.

And after feeling apathy
you sense there’s only one place to be,
which is right in between
the black and the white.
The infinite struggle
to feel just alright.

Now the colour returns,
and with it the hope,
that no matter how much it burns,
I’ll find better ways to cope.
