An initiative to tackle alleged police racism in England and Wales is now facing allegations of being racist after ethnic minority staff complained they were made to feel like “troublemakers or difficult.”
One source told the BBC, “It was openly questioned if black people were even needed” to work on the Police Race Action Plan, set up after George Floyd died in 2020, claiming white staff was offered more support when their workloads increased.
