I like the visual of having the pieces all sorted & easily viewed in one of these plastic parts organizers. I buy them at the dollar store.
Especially for games with a lot of grabbing specific pieces during play rather than each player getting most of *their* pieces at the start. In this latter case I do like you & keep each player's pieces in a bag.
There's just something about all those little sections full of cool tokens. 🤩
