This week my column in @TheNewDailyAu tackles the issue of #religion in #Australia. I am predicting a revival of religion (in a new form) in about 50 years. In the meantime religion is mostly useless in acting as social glue in Australia. Strengthening the middle class (this includes making housing more affordable) and investing in sports are better bets to improve social cohesion in Australia. No pay wall:
