The Düsseldorf(Weeze) low-cost airport is not only 1,5 hours away from the actual Düsseldorf city. They also built an airport in Germany without direct train connection. You can only get out of there by bus.

I guess they got so many complaints from people with wrong expectations that they renamed the airport and now it is called Niederrhein - "lower Rhein" - accepting the fact that this is an airport in the middle of nowhere somewhere in the region.
