It felt nice that my dad decided to use his half-hour break at work to return my phone call from earlier in the day. Makes me feel prioritized and important in his eyes.
I'm in awe of a man who just didn't enjoy how much time he had on his hands in retirement after nearly 40 years as a railroad conductor that he goes out and gets himself a part-time job. I've barely even had one job in life if you don't count taking care of pets for people on vacation.
