I've just had it with the way the internet works now and paid for Mozilla VPN. There's probably free stuff but I'm tired of simultaneously being asked for money from every website and service, which I'm mostly willing to pay, but then ALSO still being bombarded with ads, trackers, data mining, etc. It doesn't feel like a fair exchange of value, if I'm already paying for a million different services I don't want to deal with aggressive ads and websites that are spying on my every move.
