The Ministry of Defense has revealed a new attack on the civilian population of Shebekino village in Russia’s Belgorod region was repelled in the early hours of Thursday morning.
”At about 3am, Ukrainian formations with up to two motorized infantry companies reinforced with tanks, attempted to invade,” a ministry statement read. “The selfless actions of the Russian military repelled three attacks by Ukrainian terrorist groups.
The border region was not breached according to the release, with over 30 Ukrainian soldiers reportedly killed in the attempts.
