Most satisfying Japanese-ish Sunday lunch.
Had prepped and marinated chicken hearts yesterday (soy, water, sugar, mirin, sake, ginger, garlic scallions: all simmered a bit), just had to cook in fry pan, & boil down marinade for the glaze. Cold somen with diluted dashi+soy, raw cold asparagus (marinated 10 mins in dashi+soy from somen; 🍋 zest), thin beef just about cooked in dashi+soy, daikon+cucumber salad from yesterday*
