Attonement comes from God. It is part of the original Covenant.
Jesus is of God and was a Hebrew. Therefore, he could not have been acting outside of the Covenant with God.
So many Christains do not understand their own faith and make up ideas.
The message of Jesus was to get back to the single law given in the Garden of Eden - Don't eat the damn apples
In other words, Respect God the Creator.
