The art world has witnessed several significant acquisitions in recent times. The Saint Louis Art Museum has received a generous gift, featuring artworks by Oklahoma and New Mexico-based artists. Meanwhile, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London has acquired a rare 12th-century walrus ivory carving, which was previously on display alongside another fragment from the same altarpiece.

The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford has also made headlines with the purchase of Giambologna's bronze "Striding Mars" for $4m. Additionally, the Rothschild Foundation acquired a painting of Moses by Guercino for around €2m.
