Abandoned America on Nostr: There's a deep, ragged sorrow in the places I choose to photograph, and traveling ...
There's a deep, ragged sorrow in the places I choose to photograph, and traveling back into the void to confront it is terrifying. I'm always anxious before I do. But standing face to face with that loss and fear to document what I can of them is the only way I know how to survive them. It's a fun little paradox. I struggle with sadness and anxiety, so I must go to the places where they are strongest to meet them head on.
