What does he define as proper work?
Shelf stacking ? Till operator? Deli counter clerk?
This drive to get people back into a central office, is just absolute madness. Especially when with the same breath they are also on a drive to eliminate and reduce the number of roles and "proper" jobs by trying to use AI.
Its absolute nonsense that these old men, praise virtues of a bygone era, and claim it to be the way forward. Their time has gone, and their allocated shift on this planet is trying to a close.
It's ovbvious that some types of work cannot be done from home, but that doesn't rule out that there is a whole plethora of work and jobs that don't require specific locations to be preformed.
