Having something like this is never a bad idea. Always better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. Easy to grab one thing on the way out if in an emergency. Even if you don’t put this much stuff in a bug out bag, you’ll be grateful to have whatever is in there should you ever find yourself needing it
I just vacuum sealed 2 days worth of clothing for my whole family, including winter gear, towels, toiletries and electronics, radios, flashlights etc 
They can fit in a single backpack
