Mohamed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, a member of the board of directors of Al Ain Football Company, said that 'the leader' is looking to continue achieving successes in its illustrious career, with its win as the best team in the Middle East, within the 'Globe Soccer Awards' ceremony, which was held last night, in the presence of a galaxy of international stars, representatives of top clubs, and sports decision-makers. Al Mahmoud was accompanied by player Sufian Rahimi, during the trophy presentation, where Al Ain sent a message through Khalfan Al Belhol, vice president of Dubai Sports Council, to emphasize the importance of team spirit among players and management in achieving success. Al Mahmoud delivered a speech after winning the award, saying: 'We are thrilled to win the best team in the Middle East award, which came after a major success in winning the Asian Champions League title, after defeating big teams and some great champions like Ronaldo and Neymar.' Al Mahmoud added: 'We hope to repeat that again and prepare ourselves in the best way for the FIFA Club World Cup.' Al Ain won the award for best team in the Middle East, beating Al Ahly, Al Hilal, Al Nassr, and Al Ittihad from Saudi Arabia. The win came after a decision by the judges, based on technical and administrative criteria, following a fan vote that involved millions of fans from the region and around the world, which was taken into account in the final result. The achievement of 'the leader' comes after it won the Asian Champions League title for the second time in its history this year, qualifying for the FIFA Club World Cup to be held in the United States next summer, where it was drawn in a group featuring Manchester City, Juventus, and Wydad Athletic from Morocco. The Al Ain logo and name were displayed in the middle of a huge applause from the packed hall, featuring top stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, David Beckham, Lamine Yamal, Alessandro Del Piero, Rio Ferdinand, and Iker Casillas, as well as representatives of top clubs like Real Madrid, which attended to receive several awards, including the best team in the world award, the Florentino Perez award, and the best coach award won by Italian Carlo Ancelotti.
