Another part of the moon I managed to photograph last night is known as Rupes Recta or the straight wall. Located close to the crater Birt, the straight wall is a 100km long linear fault on the surface of the moon, that is visible as a dark line near first quarter moon. #moon #astronomy #NewZealand
