Hard to know. It probably would have been fine. There is also a Concorde fallacy aspect to it once you’ve entered the wormhole. It shouldn’t be too hard, right? It can’t really require this much effort? And the fascination that a once simple thing (park car, put in coins, walk away) has become essentially a gatekeeping exercise. We had combined 12 college degrees, 4 working phones and we were still unprepared and it took 8 minutes to perform a simple transaction.
