Last month, France charged some of their citizens with using private services (private OSs and encrypted messengers, Tor, Tails, Signal, etc all). Today they've decided they have the right to warrantless spying on your phone cameras and microphones.
In other words "we're going to spy on you whether you like it or not and if you try to do anything about it, believe it or not, straight to jail".
