True story: long ago I was a vegetarian for about 10 years. Moved back to Nashville in 2012, just as hot chicken was taking off. Buddy invites me to a cookout. The guy’s making ghost pepper hot chicken “tacos” (hot chicken on a slice of white bread with homemade pickle spears and coleslaw).
My vegetarianism ended that day. Never looked back.
