Bitcoin is the purest form of property and perhaps the only one. I can call my house my own only if I omit the fine print. The fine print that tacitly stipulates that firstly, I need to comply with all rules and regulations that apply to owning real estate and secondly, those rules can change through democratic processes or otherwise. Its a bit five year old kid "owning" his bed which technically is the property of the parents. The sooner that kid learn about the reality the better his or her decisions in life. I agree that ownership is established through presence and action. There is truth to the saying "use it or lose it".
