A second Yubikey as Backup is not working for me. First I am travelling a lot and during my trips i have only one Yubikey with me, the other one as backup at home. Now if i add a new site to my Yubikey during my trip, there is no way to accessing my second key.
Another issue is that most sites do not support two Yubikeys for passwordless login (FIDO). This means you cannot even train two Keys, hence backup is useless strategy and single point of failure is eminent.
