"content": "when we lived in California, we hired a truly lovely herd of goats (and their longhorn heifer friend, and their dogs, and their humans) to clear brush on our incredibly hilly acre of redwoods. They ate all the English ivy, and all the scotch broom, and they even ate a large amount of the lower redwood fronds. \nKeeping a pet goat is aggravating lion-bait. Getting a brush clearing herd of goats in, that’s the way to do it.",
