I'm a software engineering manager, pushing for agile, and I know the technical aspects of the work. I preferred to work this way earlier in my career as a software engineer, too. My ideal framework is Kanban, but will use scrum when we're working on multi-team features and need to synchronize outcomes due to dependencies.
