If there isn't enough bigger news today to supplant it, then the papers will run the story about Trump encouraging Russia to attack NATO countries on the front page tomorrow. It happened too late on a Saturday for them to get in onto the front page today.
That means the politicians who thinks it should be big news need to be hitting it all day today to make sure it stays in the forefront.
The people who care about democracy need to get better at driving the narrative.
