I'm going to guess that Vivaldi is passing something in the user agent that makes it appear to support something that it doesn't.

I've never heard of Vivaldi before this, I wonder how widespread it is.

Hi, guys.

I'm having issues with the new player. The page loads, I see the UI. But when I click Play the spinny arrows on the button don't stop spinning and the music doesn't happen.

The old player worked fine for me. Here's my browser info:
