BTW, you have to be a psychopath to use Stage Manager with multiple monitors.

Click on the desktop... poof... everything disappears.

But, only for the desktop with the dock. No way to get it back unless you can remember what apps are on that monitor and click on one of them in the dock.

Don't even get me started with multiple monitors AND spaces.
