It is somehow comforting that all the questions of why the ‘leader of the free world’ could partake in a genocide for 10 months and destroy international law can be answered by his obvious cognitive decline, Parkinson’s or not. It is bad politics, it is bad decision making, it is bad for the world. It makes me feel less insane trying to parse it. Blinken is in charge of that file, clearly, and his conflicts of interests speak for themselves.
