I'm calling bullshit on the statement "correlation isn't causation" because its used to reduce the importance of correlations. If they didn't matter, we wouldn't do correlation charts or studies then would we? So when I hear that statement, I'm giving you 20% credibility or less most likely, present company excluded. Admittedly, correlations may not prove a cause, but Occam's Razor usually exposes the useful idiot liars for the enemies they truly are.
