I don’t think people really realize what Arabs in America go thru. I can’t fly anywhere (even within the US!!) without having to get to the airport at LEAST 4 hours early, being escorted by TSA, have every single one of my items inspected by an explosives specialist, getting interrogated, and what takes 45 minutes for others takes 3 hours for me. This is just one small example and has happened to me at least 6 times since October 2023.
When my teta who does not speak English came back from Syria last summer, they held her and interrogated her for over 8 hours without an interpreter.
Sorry I know this rant is all over the place but am very angry 🙃
