This beautiful FT-1000MP MkV is on sale on Willhaben at a price that’s… just about manageable for me. About 20 years old, nicely kept, possibly the last of the really classic Yaesu flagship HF transceivers, would probably be a joy to operate. My rational brain says I already own an FT-DX101, but my irrational brain is telling me it would be a beautiful piece of engineering to own and use and if I don’t buy it someone else will and I’m not sure I can allow that. What’s a boy to do? #hamradio
